Alexander Bondar, President & Chair of the Board of Directors of the Suncoast High School Foundation, brings over two decades of experience in biotechnology, venture capital, and real estate investment. A graduate of Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business, he has worked across major innovation hubs including Silicon Valley, Cambridge (UK), and North Carolina’s Research Triangle Park, and was involved in Florida’s early biotech initiative around Scripps Research Institute. He now focuses on philanthropic leadership in education and the arts. Suncoast High School is ranked #1 public high school in Palm Beach County and top 100 in the nation. Often called the ‘MIT of high schools in Florida’ for its academic intensity and STEM innovation, Suncoast also stands apart through its globally recognized IB program, a testament to the balance between technical mastery and intellectual breadth. The Suncoast Foundation exists to ensure that our exceptional students continue to thrive in an environment that fosters creativity, leadership, and purpose. We are expanding our vision, building partnerships, fostering entrepreneurship, and strengthening ties between students, alumni, and industry.
